The Equity Division of ORIX Investment Bank started its operation 2004. The Division was created to cater to foreseeing the rising interest rates and narrowing margins in lending activities. Thus, there was need to diversify and capitalize emerging opportunities in capital market of Pakistan. The equity division has become a major contributor to Bank's profitability and in short period has evolved into a leading brokerage house providing a spectrum of services to numerous institutions and high network individuals. The Division is spearheading the Bank's effort to support & develop Pakistan's Capital Market. The division has always been innovative and besides providing equity sales, research, we provide COT Fund placement and Hedging solutions to the clients. The division is also pursuing Arbitrage opportunities. The division is proud to serve all premier financial institutions such as DFI's, Mutual Funds, Banks and NBFI's for the capital market needs. Ably supported by the research, the research department and professional team of four equity dealers backed by strong back office settlement team and all are headed by Mr. Asif Hasan who is General Manager of the division.
